Osteopathy Treatment
Osteopathy is a science-based, hands-on treatment focused on restoring normal mobility, alignment, and function in the body.
It uses gentle manual techniques to treat the musculoskeletal system (joints, muscles, fascia) along with deeper systems like visceral mobility and craniosacral rhythms.
Musculoskeletal Osteopathy
Focuses on:
– Joint mobility and biomechanics
– Muscle tension, trigger points, and fascial restrictions
– Postural alignment and movement control
– Nerve entrapments and segmental dysfunction
– Techniques help reduce pain, improve mobility, and optimize neuromuscular coordination.
Visceral Osteopathy
Addresses:
– Mobility and motility of internal organs
– Fascial connections between organs and the musculoskeletal system
– Viscerosomatic reflexes that cause referred pain
By improving organ motion and tissue elasticity, it supports digestion, breathing, and functional visceral health.
Craniosacral Osteopathy
Works with:
– Cranial bone micro-mobility
– Membranous tension and dural dynamics
– Cerebrospinal fluid rhythm
– Autonomic nervous system regulation
– This helps in headaches, stress-related disorders, TMJ issues, sleep disturbances, and nervous system dysregulation.
Why Osteopathy?
Treats the whole body, not just symptoms
Enhances circulation, lymphatic flow, and neural regulation
Restores tissue balance, fluid dynamics, and functional harmony
Our rehab process
- The osteopathic doctor performs physical examination of the patient which may take 1 to 2 hrs.
- Then patient is asked to perform some easy stretches and movements to make accurate analysis of their posture and mobility.
- The doctor examine the health of all joints, ligaments, and tissues with the help of palpation.
- The doctor may conduct several sessions depending on the patient’s response to treatment. Osteopath may suggest dietary and lifestyle changes and some home exercises.
